Stryx Sports will be giving an opportunity to a selected number of Barça Academy teams to participate in Mare Nostrum Cup 2019 for the first time this season. The Mare Nostrum Cup is an international tournament governed by the rules of FIFA and the Spanish Football Federation. The Referees are part of the Catalan Federation and are appointed by the Territorial Committee of Tarragona. The Mare Nostrum Cup will run in football 11-aside and 7-aside format and will be held across various locations in Catalonia. Most 7 aside games are expected to take place in Salou, whereas 11 aside games will run in Salou as well as nearby towns of Tarragona, Reus, Riudoms and Vila-Seca, which are all in close proximity to one another.
