Selection

Our selection teams follow a programme that is different from the other teams to ensure that each player is challenged and developed to reach his/her maximum abilities.

 It’s a high-competitive programme that reproduces FC Barcelona’s youth system of integral development through training and competition. This programme comprehends teams from U9 to U16.

 Players that are part of this program train three times per week and participate in weekly external competitions, such as regional and national leagues as well as national and international tournaments.

  • Opportunity to participate in external leagues: These teams will be participating in a year-round external league to compete with other academies and clubs in Dubai on a weekly basis;
  • Weekly follow-up on team performances in terms of results shown in competitions as well as game style, represented values, coaching effectiveness, specific and adapted methods of management;
  • External analysis: In-depth study of rivals, including their collective and individual characteristics, coaching style and game models;
  • Internal analysis: Recording of training and matches on a bi-weekly basis, from which specific training content will be defined per player and team;
  • GPS and data Positioning integrated with tactical analytics,  which will assist in training analysis. Monthly monitoring of advanced conditional and tactical data.
